Taylor Van Antwerp
Work Based Learning Coordinator
Taylor Van Antwerp has over 10 years of experience at the intersection of workforce development, dual enrollment, and career education. Taylor’s journey began as the leader of the Dual Enrollment Department at CT-State Gateway and Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado, where she pioneered CTE dual enrollment certificate and associate degree pathways. Her innovative approach resulted in increased opportunities for students to gain workforce knowledge/skills and college credits paving the way for smoother transitions into postsecondary education and the workforce.

Transitioning back to Connecticut, Taylor served as the Manager of Talent and Workforce Programs at the Connecticut Technology Council, where she oversaw strategic initiatives and facilitated collaborations between institutions of higher education and business enhancing Connecticut’s talent pool and retention and economic competitiveness. Continuing her impact, Taylor assumed the role of Director of Career Development at the University of Bridgeport where she continued to effectively foster partnerships between companies and the university to establish a robust hiring pipeline.

Outside her professional roles, Taylor is deeply committed to community involvement and education. She serves on The Orme School Board of Trustees and is a member of the Governor’s Council on Women and Children, advocating for policies that support the empowerment and advancement of women and children in Connecticut.
